The Construction Manager acts in the capacity of agent for the owner/client rather than as an independent contractor. With this arrangement, the owner engages the trade contractors and suppliers directly thereby assuming much of the role and responsibility of the traditional general contractor. With this arrangement, all discounts and preferred pricing accrue directly to the client. The Construction Manager and the client work together from the pre-construction phase through to the completion of the project. The Construction Manager serves as your advisor and agent providing site management, administrative and technical services solely for your benefit.
